La Verna is a project of  the Franciscans in the Netherlands.
It opens its doors for anybody, irrespective of their ecclesiastical or religious background.
The centre takes its name from a mountain in Toscana, La Verna, a place of prayer, retreat and meditation for brother Francis.
La Verna is at the service of people who would like to (re)establish contacts with the rich spiritual sources and the transforming force of religious traditions, of a multilateral Christian tradition and the Franciscan spiritual tradition in the surroundings of a city where many things come up to people.
